Ngoma Safari Lodge is perched up on the edge of a valley, with views of the Chobe River and the open floodplain. Tucked away in the Chobe Forest Reserve and far removed from the busy Kasane section of the Park where many large hotels and lodges are found.
Ngoma’s thatched buildings are all made from natural materials and blend seamlessly with their surroundings. Ethnic fabrics, building material and artefacts provide a local touch. The lodge is also positioned to give guests unsurpassed views over the legendary Chobe River with many opportunities to see elephants, zebra and buffalo grazing on the floodplain.
The central area of the lodge houses the reception area, lounge, dining room, bar and a plunge pool. A well-positioned viewing deck gives guests a perfect setting from which to enjoy a beautifully prepared evening meal with views over a floodlit waterhole frequented by elephants, zebra, antelope and other game.
The lodge has eight private suites, two of which have Indian day beds and may be used as triples. The suites are all luxuriously appointed and spacious.
Qualified safari guides are on site who conduct game drives to see the resident wildlife, or guests can also enjoy a Chobe River cruise and a bush picnic.
