Located on the island of Nosy Komba, Tsara Komba Lodge offers 8 luxurious bungalows dotted around lush vegetation, set on the hillside just above a lovely stretch of pristine beach.
The eight bungalows all have terraces and sea views, and back onto a nature reserve, which is home to endemic plants, lemurs, chameleons, parrots, hummingbirds, cocoa, vanilla and wild pepper. The lodge has six 75m2 Ocean View bungalows which include a bedroom with double four-poster bed and a large mosquito net, a huge bathroom, a fan and a safe. Each bungalow is designed to fit into the surroundings and has lots of little luxurious touches. There are also 2 larger 100m2Ocean View suites, one of which is located by the water's edge, with the other set up overlooking the beach and the bay. These suites are decorated similarly to the other rooms with quality linen and a natural feel, but also have a large lounge area ideal to relax in or get away from the sun for a while.
The main lodge, called the Divine House, is home to the restaurant, the bar, the lounges and also 4 terraces from where you can admire the superb views across the bay. Food at Tsara Komba is of a very high quality prepared by their French chef and with fresh products obtained from their own organic kitchen garden and main gardens where they grow fruit, vegetables and herbs. Seafood is a real speciality and the chef comes up with some amazing and innovative ways of preparing the dishes.
A variety of activities can be enjoyed from the lodge and exploring the forest of the island is a must. Diving can be organised at Nosy Be and there are many boat trips and excursions possible across the archipelago.
