Tsarabanjina is a small private island, part of the Mitsio Archipelago, which is 50kms north of Nosy Be. This area is full of coral reefs, pristine sandy beaches and this fantastic luxurious hotel. The fact Tsarabanjina means 'good looking' really says it all! Constance Tsarabanjina had a refurbishment in 2013 and is a superb 'barefoot luxury' hotel on an all-inclusive basis.
There are 25 villas, each of which is on the beachfront with thatched roofs. They are built using natural materials and in a modern yet elegant style. The villas are split into two areas: North Beach Villas, of which there are 13, have air-conditioning throughout, where as the 12 South Beach Villas have air-conditioning in the sleeping area only.
The hotel's restaurant is on its own private beach and offers high quality cuisine in a laid back and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast and lunch are served in buffet style and there are 3 courses on offer for dinner. The nearby bar has no closing time and sipping cocktails with the sand beneath your feet is the perfect way to start (or finish) the evening.
There are many activities on offer free of charge including snorkelling from the beach, beach tennis, sailing, volleyball, boules, various walks and also bird watching at the nearby islands of Quatre Freres. The huge basalt columns at Grand Mitsio are also well worth a trip. This trip along with diving (at the on-site PADI centre), sports fishing, massages and cruises can also be organised at extra cost. Constance Tsarabanjina is pure barefoot luxury and a great way to end a trip to Madagascar.
