Located on Benguerra Island, Azura Retreat is an exclusive boutique retreat surrounded by turquoise seas and miles of white sand.
The 15 beach villas are made up 3 Luxury Beach Villas, 10 Infinity Beach Villas, 1 Villa Amizade and 1 Presidential Villa. All villas are very spacious with the infinity and luxury villas covering a total private area of 650m2. Each infinity and luxury villa offers guests their own private pool, beach frontage, outdoor sala, his and hers outdoor showers, bathroom, king size beds, mini bar, air conditioning and butler service. The villas are close to the beach, yet designed with seclusion in mind. Set among the trees and bush, they are designed to create private sanctuaries for guests.
Activities at Azura include snorkelling or diving the magnificent reefs that are home to the turtles that nest nearby, as well as fly fishing or big game fishing for marlin, sailfish and tuna. Guests can also go out with the Dugong protection team and search for this shy endangered mammal. Sail on the dhow, or cruise to deserted beaches to look for pansy shells. Alternatively, guests can swim with the dolphins, who are regular visitors to the beach, or track down humpback whales on their migration past the shores.
