Marlin Lodge is situated on the south western shore of Benguerra Island, second largest of the four main islands that form the Bazaruto Archipelago off the Mozambican coast.
Marlin Lodge offers a total of 14 Luxury Beach Suites, each with a sea view and only a few steps from Flamingo Bay beach. Each 60 m² Beach Suite has a 17 m² veranda, perfect for a private dinner or lunch for two, or for watching the Mozambican sunset. Each Beach Suite features an en suite bathroom, roof fan and air-conditioning, four-poster bed with mosquito netting, his and her basins and vanity area, inside and outside showers, private lounge, private veranda with deck chairs, mini bar and direct access to the beach.
The 3 Executive Beach Suites have over 80 m² of floor space and a 30 m² veranda. Executive Beach Suites each have en suite open-plan bathroom, double basins, private outside shower, separate vanity area, air-conditioning, king size four-poster bed with mosquito netting, mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities, 2 seating lounges, private veranda with deck-chairs and hammock, and a private walkway to the beach.
There are private sandbanks around the island where private picnics and excursions can be arranged. The island is just 14km long and guests are encouraged to explore the freshwater lakes, learn about and meet the small community, hike the towering dunes or just relax at one of the private spots set up for guests to enjoy. There is also kayaking, windsurfing, Mozambique Dhow sailing, horse riding, helicopter flips, a Rejuvenation Spa and a full range of beach activities on offer daily.
