Castleton Camp is situated in the renowned Singita Sabi Sand Reserve that covers over 18,000 hectares (43,000 acres) of pristine bushveld alongside the western boundary of the Kruger National Park.
Castleton Camp is a luxury farmhouse, yet has all modern comforts imaginable. The property caters for group bookings and offers perfect privacy in a comfortable setting. The property can only be booked by one group at a time, be it for 1 or 12 guests, thus ensuring total privacy and exclusivity. There are six bedrooms – four twin rooms and two double rooms. It also has its own kitchen, chef, guide and staff to provide a personalised service.
The area around Castleton is home to the big five as well as herds of antelope and extraordinary birdlife. Guests have access to a wide range of activities, including early morning game drives, guided bush walks and afternoon (into evening) game drives in open Land Rovers.
The reserve is also renowned for its big cats, and game drives allow guests to view these spectacular creatures up close. While relaxing on the veranda of the main house, guests may get a glimpse of elephant and buffalo at the nearby waterhole.
