Kwena Huts are located in Gondwana Game Reserve, a short drive from the main Fynbos Camp lodge.
The new Kwena Huts are a modern and luxurious twist on the traditional Khoi-San dwelling. Kwena Camp facilities include a large pool, open-plan lounge and bar, with food
and beverage services offered in an intimate dining room set around open fireplaces, the outdoor boma, or private in-room dining.
The Khoi San inspired lodge offers luxurious private suites overlooking two waterholes across the valley onto the mountains which once formed part of the landmass known as Gondwanaland.
The Kwena Huts are a luxurious and modern take on the traditional African hut. They have an open-plan design with beds centred under a skylight with private dressing area behind, spacious bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and double basins, fireplace, deck, mini bar, telephone and Internet access, and a safe.
Morning and evening game drives provide the opportunity to track the Big Five. Guests can also enjoy guided walks with a game ranger into black rhino and elephant sightings to truly appreciate these spectacular animals. Gondwana has over 300 species of birds in its general region, many of which are endemic and only found in this part of South Africa, such as the Cape Sugarbird and Orange Breasted Sunbird.
