Situated in the heart of the Franschhoek valley, Franschhoek Country House offers a range of luxurious rooms including Standard Rooms, Luxury Rooms, Garden Cottages and the more recent Villa Suites.
Standard Rooms are located in the original manor house with all rooms renovated to offer all the expected luxuries and amenities. All en suite rooms have a small lounge area together with a private balcony. There is also a separate guest lounge in which to relax. Additional facilities include en suite bathrooms with a range of amenities, private balcony, air conditioning, television, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, overhead fans, safe, hairdryers and separate dresser tables.
The Luxury Rooms are located separately and in addition to all the facilities and amenities of the standard rooms offer additional space as well as a fire place and under carpet heating. Most luxury rooms have a private patio or balcony to enjoy the views of the fountains and gardens. The 2 Garden Cottages can cater for guests with small children and consist of a downstairs area with en suite bedroom with private patio area. Upstairs is a lounge with fold-out bed and a balcony with a view over the surrounding vineyards.
The recently added luxurious Villa Suites are each a total of 100sqm in size and include a separate lounge, bedroom and bathroom, and 2 private balconies.
There are 2 outdoor swimming pools and spa treatments are available. Aside from the attractions of the hotel and Franschhoek itself, guests are within easy reach of the many wine estates and golf courses in the region.
