Baraza Resort & Spa lies on the south eastern coast of Zanzibar along the award winning Bwejuu beach. The resort is situated on a 240m stretch of beach with a coral reef that runs down the eastern shore of Zanzibar.
There are 14 one-bedroom villas and 15 two-bedroom villas, as well as the Presidential two-bedroom villa. All the villas are designed to characterise classic Swahili architecture featuring dramatic arches, cement Baraza benches and intricate hand-carved decorations. The spacious villas feature luxury interiors, beautiful fabrics, hand carved furniture and brass lanterns, large bathrooms with luxury fittings as well as a spacious terrace and private plunge pool.
The Water Club is the resort's water sports centre, located approximately 300 metres from Baraza on the beach front. Featuring a great selection of new equipment and offering instruction in wind surfing, kite surfing and sailing, The Water Club is the perfect place to experience the very best of the Indian Ocean. As well as water sports, other activities include a fitness centre, tennis court, kid's club, Frangipani Spa, private tours and excursions, and cultural activities.
