The Emin Pasha Hotel is a boutique hotel in Kampala. Gracious and elegant, the hotel offers personal service and comfortable accommodation.
There are twenty rooms at the Emin Pasha, as well as one self-contained private flat for longer stays. Each room is different in terms of layout, size and decor, but all are decorated with the African landscape in mind.
Each room features hardwood furniture, floors in the rooms are made of reconstituted stone and are cool underfoot, and each room has at least one oversized armchair or sofa. All the rooms have air-conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephones, internet and satellite television.
The hotel's restaurant and wine bar, FEZ, is open to the public as well as to guests. The carefully planned menu changes frequently and draws its inspiration from many quarters, with strong Pan-African and Asian influences, as well as the more traditional continental fare.
Located near the centre of town, the hotel is set in two acres of peaceful park-like tropical gardens. Big mature trees, flowering shrubs and scented vines abound, yet the hotel is within walking distance to the Commercial Business District and many Embassies and Foreign Missions.
