Ilala Lodge is the closest property to the Victoria Falls and is the perfect platform from which to explore the area.
The lodge offers 32 Standard Rooms and 2 Deluxe Suites. All standard rooms have 2 large beds in a spacious room decorated by railway teak. Each room has an en suite bathroom with complimentary soaps, shampoos and conditioners. The bathroom has separate bath, shower and toilet. All rooms have air conditioning and there are French doors that open up to a communal garden. Bottled water is provided in each of the rooms as well as a kettle for the tea and coffee provided. The Deluxe Suites have all the same amenities as well as king size bed, larger floor space and private balconies.
The Victoria Falls, being on the mighty Zambezi River, offers visitors an extensive range of activities including white river rafting, bungee jumping, fishing, swimming, guided walks, skydiving, game drives, river boarding, walks with lions, hot air balloons, sun downer cruises on the Zambezi, scuba diving, kayaking and abseiling.
