On Pointe Malartic, located between Grand Baie and Pointe aux Canonniers, in the northwest of the island, 20° Sud stands on a turquoise lagoon in the Grand Baie facing the islands to the north: le Coin de Mire, Ile Ronde and Ile Plate. 20° Sud is both small and luxurious.
The Hotel offers 34 rooms, situated in a coconut grove facing the sea, divided into 4 Austral Suites, 2 Suites, 9 Beachfront rooms, and 19 Charm rooms, with no two rooms being alike. Every room is equipped with bathroom and traditional tub, shower and a separate toilet, hairdryer, telephone, air conditioning, flat screen LCD TV, 2 free PC corner ADSL corners, mini-bar, coffee & tea, safe and a terrace or balcony.
The 4 new Austral Suites are positioned just a few metres from the ocean's edge with a beautiful view across the bay. Two of the suites have a private pool and the others have their own Jacuzzi on the terrace. Additional features include flat screen plasma TV and Espresso machines. The 2 roomy Suites are on the water, with a cosy living room corner. They are both equipped with an outdoor Jacuzzi.
The hotel has a restaurant and a bar where meals are created by a talented Mauritian Chef who supervises the kitchen and the supplies delicious fresh menus.
The Spa is dedicated well-being and beauty and consists of 4 massage rooms, one

20°Sud has 2 lovely outdoor fresh-water swimming pools (heated in winter) with a view of the sea. The hotel enjoys a small, private beach with deck chairs and thatch kiosks. Swimming is excellent and beach towels are supplied for guests.
The hotel is a perfect location for windsurfers and catamaran lovers, with the huge bay sheltered from the waves with a continual breeze all year long.
