Long Beach is a resort on the east coast of Mauritius. It brings carefree piazza-style living to the longest and widest stretch of coastline of any Mauritian resort. Beyond the beach, the tropical lagoon with its blue waters and rare coral formations is a snorkelling paradise.
There are 255 rooms arranged in three 'crescents'. Every room has a view of the ocean and a minimum 109m² of its own beach space. All rooms have king-sized beds with stylish furniture and 42'' LCD flat-screen TVs. Rooms also have international direct-dial telephones, Wi-Fi internet access (charged extra), iPod stations, digital clocks, radios, electronic room safes, hairdryers, individually controlled air-conditioning and electrical shaver points. All rooms have fully stocked mini-bars, tea and coffee making facilities and have a separate shower, toilet and bath.
Long Beach offers a great variety of eating experiences. There are five great restaurants; three are on the Piazza, with outdoor and indoor seating, and two are situated on the beach.
Complimentary water sports at Long Beach include kayaks, laser sails, glass-bottom boat trips, snorkeling, water-skiing, windsurfing, and water polo. On land there are three floodlit tennis courts, a multi-purpose court, aerobics, stretching and yoga classes, badminton, archery and much more.
