When is the Best Time to Visit Seychelles?

Seychelles enjoys a warm tropical climate throughout the year. The months of April to May and October to November are often considered the best times to visit, with calm seas, lighter winds and excellent conditions for snorkelling and diving.
Trade winds influence the seasons, with the north-west winds from November to March bringing warmer, more humid conditions, and the south-east winds from May to September creating slightly cooler temperatures and breezier days. Each period has its own appeal, depending on preferred activities.

Mahé

The largest island and gateway to Seychelles, Mahé combines dramatic mountain scenery with beautiful beaches. It is home to the capital, Victoria, as well as Morne Seychellois National Park, offering opportunities for hiking, cultural exploration and easy access to secluded coves.

Praslin

Known for its relaxed pace and natural beauty, Praslin is home to the UNESCO-listed Vallée de Mai, where the rare coco de mer palm grows. Its beaches, including Anse Lazio, are among the most photographed in the world.

La Digue
