When is the Best Time to Visit Zambia?

Zambia is best visited during the dry season from May to October, when wildlife gathers around rivers and waterholes, making game viewing at its peak. These months also offer ideal conditions for walking safaris and activities along the Zambezi River.
 
Zambia’s green season, from November to April, brings vibrant landscapes, dramatic skies and exceptional birdwatching, along with the chance to spot newborn wildlife. During these months, Victoria Falls is in full flow, reaching its most powerful between February and May after the summer rains.
