4 night, Living with the elephants at Nehimba (including 1 FREE night on Stay 4/Pay 3 special):

This is a highly recommended safari especially for elephant lovers as the elephant experience at the lodge and surrounds is simply phenomenal. Guests will fly into Shumba airstrip and then transfer 20-minutes by road to Nehimba Lodge (vice versa on the way back to Vic Falls). The best time of year for this is mid to late July through early October when elephant bulls and large breeding herds concentrate around the water holes and pans that Imvelo pump water for wildlife at. Your guests will be in awe as they watch the elephants (just a few meters away) at the main lodge area! With the Stay 4/Pay 3 special it is also incredible value for the safari.

This package is designed for the high season, and offers a great combination of the Ngamo Plains with the remote wilderness of southern Hwange. Guests will stay in two authentic, African tented safari camps, namely 3 nights at Bomani and 2 nights at Jozi. From Bomani to Jozi will be Imvelo’s trademark “pump runs” which combine game viewing in remote areas of the park with practical hands-on conservation helping to maintain the waterholes and pumps which the wildlife rely on for water during the dry season. Many of these pumps have been converted to solar-hybrid pumps in recent years. Anytime from mid-June to early October will give your guests a superb safari experience.
